About the webinar
How can we access EOPF Zarr products with openEO and STAC? This practical webinar shows how to explore and process the new EOPF Zarr data products using openEO and STAC.
As part of the Earth Observation Processing Framework (EOPF) initiative, the session demonstrates how standardised, cloud-native approaches make Earth observation workflows more FAIR – Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable. Whether you are new to openEO or looking to test the latest Sentinel Zarr data formats, this webinar guides you through data access, building customised virtual data cubes, and simple processing steps.
What to expect
Using live demonstrations, the session shows how to:
- Load and explore EOPF Zarr data via the openEO API.
- Create and customise virtual data cubes.
- Perform simple processing workflows with reproducible results.
- Understand the role of STAC and interoperability in the EOPF ecosystem.
Who should watch
This webinar is designed for beginner to intermediate EO users, particularly those interested in cloud-native data access and processing. Basic familiarity with Python or data notebooks is helpful but not required.
