Access Zarr data with openEO & STAC: new tools and resources
The notebook showcases data access to EOPF Zarr products via openEO and STAC. The openEO API harmonises how EO data is accessed and processed via a unified API. Through standardisation, portability and reproducibility, openEO fosters the FAIRness of workflows and results. It guides you through data access, the creation of customised virtual data cubes and processing, demonstrating the interoperability of openEO and the EOPF Zarr products.
Each notebook can now be started instantly using the launch button included in all rendered notebooks.

xarray-eopf v0.2.0 is here
Install it via conda/mamba or pip and start exploring the new features:
- Sentinel-3 analysis mode – rectify data from the native irregular grid to a regular grid. Supported products: OLCI Level-1 EFR/ERR, OLCI Level-2 EFR, SLSTR Level-2 LST.
- Improved spatial resampling – now powered by xcube-resampling. The parameter
spline_ordershas been renamed tointerp_methodsfor clarity and consistency.

QGIS with GDAL EOPF Zarr driver available as Docker image
A new Docker image contains QGIS with the GDAL EOPF Zarr driver pre-installed. If you have Docker on your machine, you can test the EOPF Zarr products with QGIS without installing or compiling any other library – only an internet browser is needed.
